Devon has been an instructor for Stroller Strides for nearly 7 years and a member since the first day FIT4MOM came to the Cary area almost 8 years ago. She is a mom to three children, Coco, Finn and Audie. Devon is from Allentown, Pennsylvania and attended the University of Michigan and Lehigh University. She worked for AmeriCorps and in the travel industry after college, but then changed career goals when she decided to go to grad school to become an elementary school teacher. Devon started attending Stroller Strides classes when her daughter was 6 months old and she credits it with changing her life as a mother. Devon and her children have made many great friends and had countless wonderful experiences thanks to Stroller Strides, and she firmly believes she would have been lost as a stay at home mother had she not found Stroller Strides.more
Marisa joined Stroller Strides of Raleigh in May of 2011, when her son Christopher was 8 months old. It was
a life-saver. She quickly found she couldn't imagine life without the routine, workout,
and wonderful friends she found in Stroller Strides. She joined Running Mamas and completed her first
5k in the fall of 2011, and then ran her first and second half marathons in April
and October of the following year. In
the fall of 2012 she became certified to teach Stroller Strides, Fit4Baby, and Body
Back. She draws on her experience playing soccer in high
school and college and her time as an elementary school teacher to
create workouts. Now she's thrilled to be able to
bring the same sort of experience that she has had to other moms through
Strides and Body Back, helping them to reprioritize themselves, find the
and benefits of exercise, and bring them into an unbelievably supportive
community of moms.
Karen joined Stroller Strides in May 2012.
She found out about Stroller Strides on meetup.com and signed up to be a
member on her first day of class. Karen loved meeting so many moms and
loved having her daughter, Annie, make friends. Karen always had a
passion with exercise and running and has completed one full-marathon,
five half-marathons, and over twenty 5k's/8k's/10k's. Karen became
certified to teach Fit4Mom, Stroller Strides, and Stroller Barre in May
2013. Karen is very excited to teach, workout, run, play, and have fun
with the awesome moms of Fit4Mom of Raleigh!
Megan is a proud mother of her two daughters Payton ( turning 4 in
December) and Emerson (age 2). She was born and raised just outside of
Pittsburgh PA where she grew up participating in sports. She studied at Robert Morris University where she played collegiate
soccer and received a BS/BA in Hospitality Management. During her high
school and college athletic careers she grew very passionate for
fitness. While in her last semester of college she went on to obtain her
personal training certification through AFFA. Meg moved to
Raleigh NC in 2004 right out of college with her now husband.
Meg joined Stroller Strides in February 2011 when Payton was just 9 weeks old. She strongly believes that Stroller Strides has provided her with a sense of purpose and has surrounded her and her daughters with the most positive uplifting friends that have become more like family. With the help of Stroller Strides and the Running Mamas program Meg has been able to obtain goals that she never imagined she could, especially after having two babies. Being an athlete for most of her life she is amazed how much stronger mentally, physically, and emotionally she has become over the past 4 years.
Fitness, inspiring others, and being a role model to her children are just a few things Meg enjoys more than anything. She is thrilled as an instructor to finally be able to share this passion with other moms so they can do the same with their kids.

Colette is grateful to be spending her days with her son, Lucien, born in April 2014. And she is thrilled to be joining the amazing team of instructors here at Fit4Mom Cary/Durham! Colette grew up in Chapel Hill, NC (go Heels!) and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught fourth grade for four years at Mills Park Elementary in Cary before Lucien was born. She is an avid runner and has completed four half marathons as well as numerous shorter races. As a child Colette was obsessed with horses and was active in Pony Club. Through high school, she taught younger children to ride. In recent years she has also coached summer swim teams and tutored many children. Two of her other passions are literacy and reading. In September 2014, when Lucien was 5 months old, Colette joined Stroller Strides and instantly loved the workouts and community of welcoming mamas. She thanks Stroller Strides for getting her back into pre-pregnancy shape and introducing her to many new friends for both herself and Lucien! Colette completed her Stroller Strides instructor certification in January 2015 and can't wait to share her passion for fitness and wellbeing with other moms and their babies.more

I'm the proud mother to Camelia Grace and since becoming a SAHM have truly learned the meaning of unconditional love. I take pride in doing as much as I can for my daughter. Participating in Stroller Strides and then joining the Fit4Mom team, while being so fortunate to be able to stay home, has changed my life. I've met so many inspiring women and am loving every moment.more
